Paris, C'est Ludique!

I spent my first afternoon here trying, unsuccessfully, to get to the Musée Montmartre. After making it as far as the steps of Sacre Coeur, I ran out of time and had to turn around in order to make my reserved time for a detective game at « Au Bonheur des Jeux ». (I'd found this games cafe online via Meetup.com before leaving, and I was soooo excited to play board games in French!)

The cafe was absolutely awesome -- it's run by a young French guy and a young American woman from Houston, and they were super welcoming. I’m not sure I was a huge help to my detective team (we did figure out whodunnit, after three hours of inquest) but they were very gracious, and it was fun. My fellow detectives left after the game, but I stayed and was paired up with a young pre-med student, Aaron, who let me teach him Dominion. :)
