TGV to Marseille

Such a pure delight to ride this TGV (Train de Grande Vitesse - high speed train) across France! The WiFi is working, the air conditioning is working, I even have an empty seat next to me… So far this has been the best train ride, by far, of my trip. I’m able to make plans and take a few moments to think, while watching spectacular scenery go by.

(I'm also watching some impressively scary clouds! Over what I think is probably the Parc Naturel Régional du Vercors. Yikes.)

Just got my first glimpse of a serious solar array. I saw plenty of rooftop solar in Germany, but so far I've seen almost nothing in the way of solar panels in France. (I gather they have become overly reliant on their nuclear capacity.) It was reassuring to see this!
